This building forms part of an agricultural farm complex, which Biagio Saraceno asked Palladio to re-design, in the mid C16th.
Today the villa is owned by The Landmark Trust through whom you can arrange to stay at the villa, brilliant!
The model was commissioned in 2007 by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America as a prize to be awarded at the Arthur Ross Awards 0f 2008. The recipient of the prize was Mr Alvin Holm A.I.A. The model is made in plaster with additional detailing in etched brass, and white metal.
